The Viking Group has launched their new mobile website with QR codes using Tappinn. They kicked things off by sending out post cards to inform customers of their new mobile website. The post cards provide detailed step by step instructions on how to scan the QR code with screen shots of what information will be available in the palm of you hand once QR code is scan. Below are images of the front and back of the post card.
Viking Group utilzed some key features that Tappinn has to offer. They have a customized URL as well as a "find functionality" which allows mobile users to find the nearest places to buy based on their location.
Great use of QR codes!
Members now have ability to send automatic email responses to mobile users after they fill out a sign up form. Examples include coupon attachments, thank you resonse or exclusive content. The image below shows this new feature in action.
Adding the automatic email response to your sign up is done with four steps.
1. Check the box under Submission Response that reads "Send this response via email to the user?" *Note: the email will only be sent if the user supplies an email address
2. Give the email a name. This name is who the email is "from." Usually the name of the company is used.
3. Set the reply to email address. ex: noreply@tappinn.com.
4. Set the subject of the email. ex: Coupon for 20% off.
